Shipping & Refunds

Shipping and Refund Policy

Please wait for confirmation of your order via whatsapp or phone call along with the actual delivery charges. The charges can be paid upon delivery or before shipping as per your choice.

We delivery only within 10km of our store location. Upon checking with the actual shipping address provided, if we find that the destination address is beyond 10km of our store, the order may be cancelled and amount which has been payed if any, would be refunded to the source.

​

Plant Gift strives to ensure that the products purchased by the Customers through the website and application are to the full satisfaction of the customer.

​

In any event whatsoever, an order once placed cannot be cancelled.

 

However, the Customer may apply for Refund under any of the following conditions:

​

1. If the Customer has received a dead plant at the time of delivery. For claiming refund for a dead plant, the Customer shall immediately inform the same to Plant Gift Management (via plantgift.in@gmail.com and whatsapp at +917975264160) and send the pictures of the dead plant before accepting the delivery of the plant. Once the delivery is marked complete by the delivery partner, the refund policy shall not be applicable and the Customer shall not be entitled for any refund amount. Further, if the Refund request of the Customer is approved by Plant Gift, only the amount of dead plant shall be refunded to the customer after deduction of costs for other products, including but not limited to cost of planter/pot, soil, packing charges, any applicable taxes etc. The cost of plant shall be decided/ascertained by the Plant Gift management.  Plant Gift may replace the plant instead of granting refund to the Customer; The Customer understands that due to transit/shipping, the Plant received by the Customer may be partly damaged/dead and exposure to indirect bright light and proper watering will revive the plant. In such scenarios when the plant is partly damaged/dead, the Customer shall not be entitled for any refund. However, the Customer shall be provided assistance in taking care of the plant and reviving the plant to its complete health.

2. If the Customer has received a broken planter/pot at the time of delivery, which has rendered the planter/pot unusable; the Customer shall be entitled for a refund of the cost of planter/pot only. For claiming refund for a broken/unusable planter, the Customer shall immediately inform the same to Plant Gift Management (via plantgift.in@gmail.com and whatsapp at +917975264160) and send the pictures of the planter/pot before accepting the delivery of the plant. Once the delivery is marked complete by the delivery partner, the refund policy shall not be applicable and the Customer shall not be entitled for any refund amount. Plant Gift may replace the planter/pot instead of granting refund to the Customer. The Customer understands that due to transit/shipping, the planter/pot received by the Customer may be partly damaged/cracked. In such scenarios when the planter/pot is partly damaged/cracked and is not rendered unusable, the Customer shall not be entitled for any refund.

In any or all of the above situations, upon receiving the e-mail/whatsapp message, the management at Plant Gift shall decide on whether the Customer’s request for a Refund should be processed, contingent on the reasons for such a request. Please note that Plant Gift reserves the right to take the final and binding decision with regard to requests for Refund or Replacement in lieu of Refund. The maximum refund amount claimable from Plant Gift cannot exceed the amount paid by the Customer to Plant Gift for purchasing the product.

The Refund amount, if any, shall be refunded to the customer’s source of payment within 05 (five) working days from the Refund Approval date or the product shall be replaced within the aforesaid stipulated time, as per the discretion of Plant Gift.

SHIPPING POLICY

Plant Gift delivers the orders within Bangalore City (Karnataka) only. 

Customer has to pay for the delivery. Plant Gift strives to deliver the order on the same day if the order is placed latest by 18:00 hrs. However, Plant Gift does not guarantee the same as same day delivery depends on external factors including availability of delivery persons, weather etc.

 

Any order placed after 18:00 hrs of the day shall be shipped on the following/next day of the order, subject to external factors.

 

The Customer is required to fill the correct address for shipment of the products. In case, the address of the Customer is found to be incorrect and the product is not delivered to the Customer, the Customer shall not be entitled for any refund. Any charges incurred for subsequent shipping of the product shall be borne by the Customer.

 

Plant Gift shall not be responsible if the Customer is not available for receiving the product from the delivery partner due to any reason whatsoever.

 

DIFFERENCE IN PRODUCT

Plant Gift sells plants, planters/pots etc.; therefore, there is bound to be variation in the products delivered to the customers from the generic images shown in the catalogue on the website. The variation may relate to size, colour, growth of plant, weight etc. The Customer understands that Plant Gift does not offer refund/replacement for the difference in delivered products from the images shown in the catalogue.
